hey paul you have any plans on adding spincast reels? i think it would be cool to have them in 4, 8, and 15# or something like that and change the 4# spinning reel to a 2#? what do you think?

to anyone what do you think about spincast reels?

what about selecting your rod like UL, l, m and then selecting your line weight? like a lot of other games.
so that way we could have line weights from #1 to 50 or more good idea or bad?

just trying to keep the forum a little more lively

trophy bass games, in fishermen freshwater trophy's, rapalas pro fishing

anyway i was just want a bait caster with lighter line then the #12 test and extra up down rod movement that the bait casters come with in game. i know that they make a bait caster that uses #4 but cant really cast them from what i have heard from reviews

as far as the line goes i would like to see a #1 or #2 line in game would make fishing for crappie and gills more fun still fun as is though. and having to select line would help from adding more rods and colors on them. 8)

thanks for the reply

but the question is, do they make much of a difference?

anyways, fishing on any mode with the lightest rod and everything makes crappies and 'gills put up a nice fight..

don't we already have enough rods in this game?

Personally, when I hear "spincast," I automatically think "little kiddie pole."
Not sure it has a place in a serious fishing sim.

with the simulator Paul should add the problems that come with them like the backlash, and cant cast light lures for baitcasters and the problems for the others.
spincast was originally used by most fisherman and was out before spinning reels i was told by my grandpa dont know for shore.

i do agree with you if your talking about spiderman and such

but im talking about these types

the last one i just got seems to work good got it for crappie. 8) and i have one that i have had for 5 or more years that i use for carp i use #8 line on it.

P.S. this is a serious post about adding to a serious simulator I'm not trying to sound like I'm mad or anything I'm just pointing to the last post about

No offense intended.. none taken. 8)

I'm just not sure I've ever seen an adult use a spincasting outfit unless they were helping the kids with theirs. That's all. I stand corrected.

fixed wikipedia says that spinning was out before but i cant trust them fully so i cant say

i like the spincast because the reel is over the rod and can grip it better by raping your hand over it and can cast the light lures unlike the baitcast but yea most people think its a kids reel i understand where your coming from when i go fishing over at a near by lake i never see people use them and some teach there kids on spinning reels that's what i see anymore. spincast rod/reels are really pretty cheap too.
basically there in between spinning and baitcasting that's what i like about them.

and some people really do use kids combos

Hey, guys. Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Spincast tackle might be fun for extra variety. I rarely use it myself in the real world, but there are those who prefer it, and it would make for a more complete bait shop.

As to the backlashes, that might be a fun addition, as long as your skill can reduce the odds of it, and it's only an issue on the expert level. Maybe when you use a Stix controller and cast with too jerky a motion it could snarl up.

I'm thinking of rearranging the lures bait shop by species, by the way. It would be nice to have sections for panfish, trout, bass, walleye, and pike and muskie. And then each lake's shop would only carry lures suitable for the species that are present, so no massive muskie lures in the shop on Mountain Lake. What do you think?

yea the backlash and things like that if you have no control over it like a random system in would get annoying especially if you have it happen three or more times in a row because of random chance.

the bait shop sounds good or even a way to select what size lures you want to see but i do like the separation of species idea sounds good but would we have to have been on the lake with the fish in them or select the lake at the bait shop? or you could make it where you select which species of fish to show lures for like bass muskie?
