Hi Reelfish,

I had not seen your post… No, one cannot create fish, only Paul can do it.Image

I'd like to make that possible eventually, but the fish in VRS are a lot more complicated than the ones in RWFF. The difficulty will be that it requires advanced 3D modeling skills. It wouldn't be as hard to simply re-skin existing fish. For example, putting a brook trout texture on a brown trout, or a spotted bass texture on a largemouth would just require some image editing. But then there's the fact that Fishlogix is used under the hood to make the fish behave appropriately, and Fishlogix uses a lot of data for each species. For each new fish you would need to specify dozens of factors, like how well it responds to different types, sizes, colors of lures and bait, retreive speed, how much it's effected by moon phazes, cold fronts, at what temperature and depth it usually spawns, how it reacts to varying light levels, how it relates to different types of cover and structure at different times of the year, etc. It can be done, but it takes a lot of knowledge about the species, and usually a lot of research.
