I was on birch lake and i called the guide and brown trout was on the list! i went and caught one and it looked identical to lake trout... any info on this? in the update that adds trout it said nothing about this........

just an afterthought..... is the game programed to make the fish tired after fighting it for a long time?

Sorry I haven't been responding - I've been out for the past week to get in some real fishing. Um... I mean research.

The brown trout issue is a new one for me. Some of the work to include brown trout is in place, but I sure didn't expect them to show up yet, so there must be a bug there. Rather than fix it I'll just finish the work to get the browns in there properly.

While tournament fishing for bass on Birch Lake I hooked and landed a little fish. To my surprise It was a Brown Trout! About the smallest size the game registers, but a Brown Trout! Vindication for the originator of this topic.

Ah. Birch Lake. That's helpful. I see an issue in the code that would give the lake 500 brown trout, even though they're not completely implemented. In the next update they'll either be gone or they'll be proper brown trout. Thanks for the info!

sorry about not replieing to my own post, and i only have 1 thing to say to gd145, WTF!? all i did was point out something odd in the game... I think it is great.. and sjc628 i never edited anything out, only a spelling mistake i had
