It works also with rwff-fullscreen, but you can't see both screens simultan, but have to press ALT+TAB to switch to the chat and back.

Hi Richard and peter

When we were playing yesterday online, when Peter pressed the timer button to start fishing nothing happened my end, it was only after Peter had first fish on board, i noticed my timer hadn't started. I then started it myself thats why i finished a bit later than you guys. Just as well it was only a practice.

When someone sets the timer, should all contestants timer start at same time ????????

Hi Barns,

if anybody set the timer and start it, all guys will hear the start-sound, the one-minute-left sound and the end sound.
The timer display doesn't show the count-down except for the guy who setup and start the timer. So it's the best that only one guy
set and start the timer. The other guys should do nothing about it, but fish.
I can look into the tool if I can change it, that everybody can see the countdown, but I don't know if I can do it, because I'm not a
profi-programmer.

Barns,

the chat-tool doesn't change anything of RWFF.

When do you have the crashes? Crash it only if you have the chat running? If you remove the rwff_chat1.2b.exe and the chatlog-folder, the RWFF game is virgin how before. Nothing inside of the RWFF-datas is modified.

Any other guy have the same problem? For me it works fine. :?:

Hi Peter

Richard was having the same problem, he thought it might be the proccessor trying to run both at same time.
I was playing a fish last night, when stanley came on chat, i paused game to speak to him. When i tried to go back and finish playing fish the pause button wouldn't release and game crashed and whole system.

Thanks

Barns,

I found what you mean. RWFF have problems if you press P (Pause) and then go into multitasking (ALT+TAB) to open a other program. If you come back from any second running software to the paused RWFF, it crashes. This have nothing to do with the Chat. It's a general RWFF multitask problem. Perhaps Paul could look into it.
To fix it at the moment, don't use the Pause-Key in RWFF if you want chat/online-Play.

Hi All:

I am running XP Pro SP3 on my systems. I can minimize the RWFF program just pusing the "Start" button, without pushing pause or the (ALT+TAB). I can do this on two of my systems. To resume the program I just click on the minimized program and it resumes. Haven't try that to see if the clock still ticks (while minimized) when fishing the Challenge mode. Can anyone else do that?? :D :D

Stanley
