Real World Fly Fishing video...

Postby Cutch » Fri Feb 02, 2007 12:22 am

Here's my first try at creating a Windows Movie Video (wmv file).
I tried 3 times before I was successful. My capture program was set at 60 fps and it was too fast. On the lowest setting, 25 fps, it finally worked. It's a little jerky, but it's the best I could do.

Cool Cutch. But tell me. How do you stop fishing long enough to make the movies.
A man should believe in something. I believe I'll go fishing.

Nice work, Cutch! That's a hefty bass, and cool to see a video of it. Thanks for sharing that!

Thanks folks. I use FRAPS for capturing fps (frames per second), and the lowest it will go is 25 fps. If it would go to about 10 or 15 fps, I could do a better job.

If any of you folks want to try making your own videos (wmv's) of this game, (or any game), download my tutorial and experiment with it.
You'll need the full version of FRAPS http://www.fraps.com/download.php
(the free version leaves watermarks) and Windows Movie Maker 2.
Here's the Movie tutorial:

Have fun :!:
