Top End Mangroves

Postby Hitman » Tue Oct 14, 2008 5:38 am

I've done another new venue with four new species. It isn't of any particular place, most of the mangrove-lined rivers and creeks up the north of Australia look basically the same as this, so its a generic venue but holds some fantastic fishing for a range of species. I apologise for the lack of moving pictures but I hope the fishing makes up for it :D There are also 2 new flies included, both are absolutely killer flies for barramundi in real life
A word of caution, don't fish too light

Hitman,

Nice two sites outing, great pictures.

Real nice new species, I already was able to catch all four of them.

First site is easy to fish, but the second gave me some trouble in finding the right fly and depth, but I finally got a nice Queen.

I will make an upgradee for both of your outings, by puting some realistic movement to the water.

Regards Richard

Please note: first install the files from Hitman and upgrade after that.

Here is the upgrade for Top End Mangroves

Just unzip and copy to your Real World Fly Fishing folder, accept when asked to overwrite exsisting files.

Thanks Richwest, no worries.
It may seem too easy for some but catching fish in Northern Australia really is as simple as throwing a line in the water
I'm already working on another venue with more new aussie species.
