These luderick (blackfish) can get to around 5lb in the ocean, commonly 1-2lb but these little fella's gave a good fight on my 6 weight. They are almost strictly herbivores, feeding on weed that looks like the fly hanging out his mouth.

I changed to a bread pattern fly just for the fun of it and landed a little sand mullet

Then I did something that my mate didnt, who has years of flyfishing experience... landed a luderick on a bread fly. He wasn't very happy
