The Pyrenees (new outing)

Postby geraldro » Sun May 25, 2008 8:22 am

Hi All,

Pyrenees or the chain of Pyrenees indicates a mountainous chain situated in the southwest of Europe and which extends in length following an east-west direction, of the Mediterranean Sea (Cap de Creus) in the Bay of Biscay ( Cabo Higuer). Peaking as height as 3 404 metres in the peak of Aneto, they form a real geographical barrier separating the Iberic peninsula in the South besides from continental Europe in the North, so establishing a natural boundary between Spain and France. They also shelter the principality of Andorra.

The chain of Pyrenees crosses three regions and six French departments.

Geraldro: Very nice site. The scenery is beautiful, thanks for your efforts. I've been away on vacation and I'm beta testing Paul's new Ice Fishing Derby game so I haven't been on the forum much lately.

Thanks again and keep up the good work,
Boston Bob
