Fish running away

Postby enielson » Wed Jan 23, 2008 4:15 pm

Hi, all.

I know this is an odd complaint for a fisherman to have, but several times over the past week I have hooked fish that have run, and NEVER stopped. :? Each time this has happened, I have had my rod tip high, and drag set high, but these fish have just run, streight and steady. Anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? I have tried fishing with heavy tackle, but even a 12 wt rod on the Rio Negro smoked the reel.

Thanks,

Erik
The worst day fishing's better then the best day working... But I'd rather have good days fishing.

Erik,

Download the newest version - 119. The run away fish was a known issue in version 118.

Get the download here: http://www.pishtech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=579

Tight Lines (but no run aways)

Erik,

Check the bottom right hand corner of the screen once you've loaded the game and are setting at the screen that lists:

Options
Go Fishing
Challenge
etc.
etc.

It will show which version you are running.
