A Had a problem with GR.exe when I tried to install RWFF. The cause is youy have fly fishing program called Green River Fly fishing on your machine I will bet. The program gr.exe has dependencies which are fired up when you try to run RWFF.

The cure is to uninstall the Green River Flyfishing in the usual Windows way. from the machine and check to see that the Folder "Oquirrh" is also removed or renamed to say OquirrhOLD. Re sytart the machine and try RWFF again. if its badly hosed and still won't go then do a re load.

It should now be good.

P.S. Paulk told me that he had developed that program before Oquirrh had dropped the project.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for your answer

I don't know this software "Green River Fly fishing ", it is not installed on my Pc.

I cannot reinstall RWFF, because when I bought it, I have dl the file zip and not the exe.

Maintaining my link of dl is not valid any more, Paul would have to give me an other one but it will correct the probléme ?

thank you and good week

Gérald

Ps: I have FishSim2 installed on my Pc ,can he be the cause of the crash?

I had Fish Sim on mine also but do not believe that it caused anything. A cheap test might be to rename the Folder with Old at the end and see what happens.
You should be able to unzip the zip file and reload it from there.

Othjerwise looks like something that Paul will need to look at.

P.S. do a search also for any file GR.exe on your system and change it if found.

"GR" is actually a remnant of the Green River code that's still in place in RWFF. Basically it's the name of a C++ class in code that's common between the two games, so if RWFF crashes, "GR" shows up in the error message. The cause of the crash is usually corrupt files.

If you ever need or want to reinstall but you bought the download, just drop me an e-mail. As long as I can look up your original order I'll be happy to send you the download link again.

Tight lines,

Paul
