New Jumping Redband Trout For Martin

Postby Yellowstone7 » Mon Sep 22, 2014 9:33 pm

Hi Everyone:

Tonight I managed to finish the "Jumping Redband Trout" for Martin who is awaiting this fish for his new outings. This is a very pretty fish and doesn't grow to a very large size in small streams.

Here are sizes for the Redband Trout.

Small Streams: max 12 inches

Larger Rivers: max 20 inches

Lakes and Resovoirs: 24 inches

Record for Redband Trout: 30 inches maximum

Of course when these fish go to sea they become the great "Steelhead Trout" and can get much larger. Most of the Steelheads found on the Pacific side of the US, particularly in the State of Washington, Oregon, and Northern California are probably sea going Redbands. I am sure our outing builders will use their best judgement as to what size to use for their particular outings.

Here are some pictures of this gorgeous fish.

Hi Stanley,
As usual, another fantastic addition to our library of fish. Been busy myself with doctors. A few major medical problems come up through my yearly physical, will find out what's happening Oct. 2nd when I see the specialist. If you don't mind I will add this fish into my outing. It's coming along slowly. Having to do a lot of research on all the fish in their areas to make sure everything works out right. Roger (rwwalleye)

Hi Roger:

Good to hear you are getting around to finishing your exotic fish outing. This should be a great addition to our custom outings collection. Can't wait to see it and to fish it. :P

Of course you are more than welcome to use the Redband Trout in your outing. Please do note the sizes found in the different stream environments and you can then chose whatever size you think is appropriate for your outing. The smallest fish in the fish folder is 8 inches and the largest one was set to 30 inches.

Hope everything will work out great for you at your medical checkup. After a nice grease and lube job you will soon be off and running again!

Regards,

Stanley
