Back In Action

Postby rwwalleye » Wed Mar 12, 2014 3:30 am

Hi Everyone,
Well I'm back in action. New laptop and running Windows 8.1. Was having trouble with RWFF, the game was running in slow motion. With Stanley and Pauls help was able to finally get the game running. So in a day or two will start posting again. Already started to fish another of Martins new outings and it seems really good so far, then the next one I'll tackle Barns Bonefish outing. So I'm back and anxious to start fishing again on a regular basis.

Hey Roger:

That is great news that you got your new computer going now. Windows8 will take some getting used to at first but it is a pretty good system. I had to install a "start" button into mine and now it works just like Windows7 without all the eye candies. After talking to you I started my copy of RWFF installed in my Windows8 guess what? I also experienced a little bit of slow down at the first login and start screens. I thought what the heck, but the computer somehow managed to right itself after the initial slow down and everything is back to normal again. :P I think this might have something to do with the Windows 8.1 update as it worked perfectly before.

Looking forward to seeing some of your new catches and new posts. :P

Regards,

Stanley

Hi Badger,
You play on a smaller screen but it works fine. In game, go to options and go to Screen Resolution set to 800 x 600. Then Go to Full Screen an turn off. Then go to Native Resolution and turn off. Hit ok and you'll be set. But like I said you're playing on a smaller screen but it works fine. You can see by my next posting of Martin's Hungary Dusk outing. And thanks everybody for the welcome back and look for some other fish postings also. Roger (rwwalleye)
