New Contest: "Trip to Yellowstone"

Postby Pitti » Sat Sep 01, 2007 5:51 am

Hello :)

Let's start a new contest. We will travel to the Yellowstone National Park and fish three River. Please look all details at the clubhouse.

This time we will try a new rule: Please send your score incl. challenge-code solely via Private Message to me. No forum-posting and no emails.
So nobody can see your current top-score. It's a little bit more like real, I think. The curiosity for the result should be bigger.

Our "hardware"-prize-box is empty so that we fight the first time "only" for the honor. I hope this does not lower the fun and the number of participant.

Tight Lines :)

Regards Peter

William: Go into the club house. Click on the bulletin board to the right of the book case. The fly rod is standing up leaning across the bulletin board or calendar as Pitti calls it.

Good fishing,

William,

you have to play the "Challenge" Mode of all 3 River as "Expert" Mode. At the endscreen of the challenge you'll see your total-score and code. Note this or look at the score_log.txt in your RWFF folder.
You can play it so often you like. If you think, you can't get better total scores, add all total scores of the 3 river. This is the final score, ready to send it via PM.

I'll add a prize for the winner of this contest. The winner will get to pick which body of water becomes the next add-on. I'll post a list and sample photos of all the waters that have been shot but not yet integrated, and there are quite a few to choose from.

Tight lines,

Paul

Let's add a bit to the prize: The winner will also be the first to fish the new water. That person will get to download the add-on a week before it's publically released. Thanks for the idea, Oppimax!

Score-log for challenge

Postby oppimax » Sun Sep 02, 2007 11:39 am

Hi guys, :D

in my score-log, in challenge mode, there isn't the total score.
:?
I can see all the fishes I got and the final code of the challenge but not the final score I got in this challenge. I need to write it at the end with the code.

It's the same for you? :?:

Pitti, :?:
do you know if in the challenge mode the result is in function of how you setted your rod and line? 0x insted of 8x; an heavy rod or a light one?

Ciao

Hi Massimo :)

Oops, you are right. The score_log-txt doesn't show the total score. Although the code show it, please write it down at the challenge-endscreen for getting later the sum of all 3 river.

do you know if in the challenge mode the result is in function of how you setted your rod and line? 0x insted of 8x; an heavy rod or a light one?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. If not perhaps this could be an idea for Paul to implant it.

No one strike in 3 days I'm fishing there!
It looks like a ghost river!
