Hy guys!

Very nice contest; congrats to all!

I'm very happy for my first web gold medal!

I'm sorry for the "biggest fish" I got  ; anyway I checked my scores and my "regular" smallest fish in Firehole river was a 9 inch Brown trout.

In this case my score would have been 810 (819 - 9) and, lukely, it wouldn't have changed the final result.

Ciao a tutti from a very hot Genoa!

Pitti,
Here's the email address that I sent my contest trout to from the Clubhouse,...last week. Apparently it's wrong or I screwed it up someway? (I'm good at that....LOL)
Rwffcont@aol.com

Placing in the contest doesn't matter to me. I had the fun of hooking and landing these little "monsters" and competing against a nice bunch of folks here.

Hi Cutch,

I wrote "But you can send me the score-datas also via privat message", because we need the email not anymore. Therefore I havn't check the the mailbox of these adress. Sorry about this.

But it should not be a problem. I have update the result-list and the sites of the clubhouse. So we have exceptional 2 silver medals for August. I hope anybody is agreed.

Pitti,
No, No, my friend,...I didn't want you to change the contest results. I just wanted to straighten things out so I didn't do the same thing again in future contests.
Please leave the contest the way it was with dcarp the only Silver.

Cutch,

I do not like to change every 10 minutes the result-list. How you said, it's only a game. So there should not be any problem about it. What should I do in this case? I would have a bad conscience if your score will ignored.
It was a simple misunderstanding which is eliminate now. No problem :)

Just my 2 cents worth here - I have no problem at all sharing silver with a fellow Oregonian!!! :)

Hey Cutch, I'd proposed earlier to donate a second place prize to the contest, but since I was second place earlier, I wasn't sure what to do. Interested in a set of 6 - #4 Cosseboom Steelhead Flies? If so, PM me with your address and I'll send them on down to you.

I haven't fished with a Cosseboom before, but I really like the design and I had a nice Grey Squirrel Tail I wanted to use.

Here's some history on the fly:

It was created by the American angler John C. Cosseboom of Woonsocket, Rhode Island in around 1923, for use on the Margaree River in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Cosseboom was originally tied with an olive green body, silver tinsel ribbing, grey squirrel tail wing, and a lemon-yellow hackle tied as a collar after the wing was applied, with a red head. Other body and hackle color combinations have evolved, but all retain the grey squirrel tail wing. The Cosseboom remains a very popular and effective Atlantic salmon fly and is used worldwide.
