I am sorry to hear you are having picture upload problems. I don't quite follow you message. Are you saying that you take a picture, crop it and saved it and you can't find it again? By default I think Windows saves the pictures to My Documents depending on the Windows version. This is what you do. After you are done resizing the picture, save it to your Desktop as I find this to be the easiest to find again.
I usually save my pictures on my desktop. then I got to Photobucket and upload it. The picture uploads and if ok you click save. Then it should show up in Photobucket with options to copy the IMG code underneath the picture. You can also go to "recent uploads" and find all your pictures there. To get the IMG code just click on the picture, it will show up with the IMG code on the left hand side of the screen. I have used Photobucket for a few years without any problems. If you are having good luck using window Live Photo then by all means stick with that!
