Dear Barry,I do not use Photobucket so I may be wrong,
but before you try to crop the photo does it give you the option to change the download location??
or any indication where it is downloading the copy to?? My Pictures etctera.
I am sure someone will have the correct answer but I hope I have helped a little.
Regards Martin.
I am so glad to be part of this

hi Martin and all
i followed the instructions Stanley posted in ref to posting pictures
and everything works ok up to the point of using photobucket to get the IMGcode
i have made life easier for me by using Windows live photo
this seems to be the easiest way for me to proceed
thanks for your reply
regards

Hi Barry:

I am sorry to hear you are having picture upload problems. I don't quite follow you message. Are you saying that you take a picture, crop it and saved it and you can't find it again? By default I think Windows saves the pictures to My Documents depending on the Windows version. This is what you do. After you are done resizing the picture, save it to your Desktop as I find this to be the easiest to find again. :P

I usually save my pictures on my desktop. then I got to Photobucket and upload it. The picture uploads and if ok you click save. Then it should show up in Photobucket with options to copy the IMG code underneath the picture. You can also go to "recent uploads" and find all your pictures there. To get the IMG code just click on the picture, it will show up with the IMG code on the left hand side of the screen. I have used Photobucket for a few years without any problems. Here is a picture of the Photobucket page:

If you are having good luck using window Live Photo then by all means stick with that! :P

Come back if you need more help.

Regards,

Stanley
