New Update?

Postby big jake » Sat Oct 01, 2011 11:31 pm

hey Paul do you have any news on a new update or when this one will go official?

i hope we get some news so this forum doesn't die  i look on here every couple of days and see that there is no body talking about anything and it seems to be two or more weeks before we get any new posts (just felt i had to say that)

Yeah, an update would probably stir some more activity.

The problem is it only stirs up temporary activity. There are only a few people on the forums and there is really no way to start a conversation about the game. I just hope that the game is still selling.

Paul was supposed to have been working on some big improvements. I wonder how it's all coming along.

The latest beta update is pretty darn good. But some of the bugs are enough to keep me from playing often. Hopefully Paul's addressing the physics glitches and other issues I've notified him of.

Ive had VR sportfishing uninstalled because of the stuttering on the new map and the old maps where running slow don't know why.I'm running a Geforce 8500GT 256mg card I'm getting a new Geforce GT440 1gig soon so I'm going to be getting back into it.

was Paul still doing optimizations or has anyone heard different?

edit i see the last time Paul was on was on sept 2 i hope he comes and says something soon.

Sorry I haven't been on lately. I'm just wrapping up a big development project (the iPhone version of My Fishing Advisor) and I hope to have time for some updates to VRS. I'll go back through my list of most-requested and highest priority fixes and enhancements and try to in as much as I can in the next update, which will include getting the last build out of beta and making the next build offficial.

I'm glad you're still alive and well, Paul. I was starting to worry about you.
