fishin' tips/faqs

Postby reelfish074 » Wed Jan 06, 2010 11:44 pm

Just a general topic for tips in catching specific fish.
Just post any fish catching questions or strategies!

I enjoy catching lake trout and rainbow trout and i have a semi-effective way of catching whitch is using a minnow with sinker or a small-med jig and casting about a foot and letting it sink down to where the depth finder shows were the fish are. then just jig it up and down verrrryyyy slowly until you get a bite.

other details: Just go around until you find a school of fish on your depth-finder and fish there
I normally use mountain lake for this
my largest rainbow is 3 pounds
my largest lake trout is 9.9 pounds

EDITED TO GET RID OF SOME SPELLING MISTAKES

Welcome!

For updates, go up to the top and choose "Downloads." You should be able to find what you need there.

Mountain Lake has trout. Not sure which others off the top of my head. The river also has trout.
