TrackIR Support

Does VR Sportfishing support TrackIR by NaturalPoint? It's a head tracking device that allows you to look around by turning your head while watching the screen through the corner of your eye. Not quite as cool as virtual reality goggles but it's probably the next best thing. I've had great success with it in various simulations in recent years.

Seems the VR920 would offer a better VR experience. Why be forced to look out the corners of your eyes at a fixed-position screen?

No question. However, I know there are a lot of gamers and simmers out there that haven't bitten the bullet on that one (yet), including myself.

You must have it set up wrong :-s
I use Trackir and it's brilliant and offers 6 DOF as appose to VR920's restrictive 3DOF

By the way, did anyone find out if VR Sportfishing supports Trackir?

I have a TrackIR and am sad to say that VRSF does not support it. Out of all the head tracking devices out there, TrackIR is easily the most popular and many big simulator games such as ArmA, il-2 sturmovik, and TheHunter support it. It is also far cheaper then the current supported head tracking device for VRSF which is also supported for far fewer games.

If my Trackir broke I wouldn't use my computer until a replacement arrived IT'S AMAZING!

I also play ARMA 2 (and 3 when it comes out :-)

I can't believe VR Sportfishing doesn't support it :-(

Hopefully it will soon...
