Postby geraldro » Sun Apr 06, 2008 9:32 am

Hi all,

For 2 days I become crazy because I do not manage to create an new outing ,as my English is bad, I put a link which will show you what takes place

The first site is good but in the second the image jumps.I have tryed with other photos and it is the always similar.

http://rapidshare.de/files/39036022/Ger ... e.rar.html

The photo jumps you too to you ?

I use nature illusion studio, paint shop pro XI, movie snapshot, and I reinstalled all these programs to see and that changes nothing

And if it was a bug of the new version? :(

Thank you for your good advice :D

Gerald,

I think the probmel is the cropping of the picture.

I think you used the alagno10 picture as original. this picture has size 1024 x 768 pix / 86,699cm x 65,024cm by 300dpi.

The screenshots are 1024 x 768 pix / 131,362cm x 98,521cm by 198dpi.

When nature illusion studio or other program rescales the picture, to screenshotsize, it recalculates the picture which results in jumping.

I think if you first resize your original picture to 1024x768 pix / 131,362cm x 98,521cm by 198dpi, this would solve your problem.

regards Richard

Gerald,

I will see what i can do for you.

You have to wait a few days, because tomorrow my new PC will arrive so I have something to do then.
First things i do is install RWFF and Nature Illusion Studio and so on.

So have a little patience and I will see if i can get it right

Hi Gerald,

I don't know your way to get the pics. Here is mine:

1. Resize/Cut the master-pics to 1024x768. Evtl. edit colors contrast etc.
2. Load this pics into illusion-studio, make the animation and save it as avi (1024x768 resolution).
3) Load the avi into moviesnapshot and save 3 pics as s1, s2 and s3.

So you can be sure, that you get exact the same jpg-formats.

Gerald,

I use uncrompressed avi. This options build 5 sec. videos, every about 60mb. But it's no problem, because it will be delete after take the 3 pics.

Hi guys, :D

what I do is:
1) Resize picture to 1024x768 24b
2) open it in Nature Illusion Studio 2.30
3) apply water movement
4) preview in full screen
5) take 3-4-5 screenshots with Gadwin Printscreen 4.3
6) chose 3 of them
7) resize them to 1024x768 24b
8) copy them to site folder

That's all.

To create mapbase, mapcur, mapdepth I usually use the outing tool but in same case I've to create them again using Micrografx Picture Publisher 10 as the outing tool makes some mistake sometime.
Take care in this files because same time there could be same pixel that has the same color code as the ones we use for depth or current; the result may be, for example, that you have a current stream that starts opposite the ones you draw. In this case use (in Micrografx) View/Color shield with Range 0% to verify if you have this situation and to change them in another color (white for example)

Ciao :D
