New Outing - Lackawaxen River

Postby Fishin Musician » Mon Nov 19, 2007 12:40 am

Finally finished my first outing.
This is the West Branch of the Lackawaxen River in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. The property you will be fishing is part of 7+ miles of stream the Creamton Fly Fishing Club est. 1939 either ownes or leases. This is the lower section of our water, I plan to do another outing in the spring of our upper water. This is all private water so if anyone askes you are a guest of Fishin' Musician a proud member of the CFFC.

New outing

Postby Bobcat John » Mon Nov 19, 2007 4:38 am

This site is great we are getting so many new sites and of such good qualitity that it is harder and harder to fish the contest I'm looking forward to the upper reaches of the river. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

I've spent the most important time of my life fishing. What was left over I wasted.

Fishin Musician,

Wow! Great new outing. Got a 27" brown and a 18" brookie my first time through. Wonderful job.

Glad you like it. Our club has very nice water all year and the setting of the Pocono Mountains is beautiful. We stock Brookies, Browns, and Bows. To keep it "Real" the Bows have a few spots they like so they are not in all the sites. Hope you find them. I just fished the club last Saturday and landed a 21" Brown, nice and fat. We do stock some lunkers... hint they like what is known as the "Big Water." In the outing I think you will be able to figure out the 3 sites...... Ok maybe to much info
