Hi there, I'm having problems with the Zambesi, Amur River, Bahamas and River Eman outings. "Supporting files have been corrupted... etc" in red shows up. Have seen this problem mentioned in earlier posts but not solved. Any ideas would be much appreciated...

Have re-downloaded, re-installed and my version of the game is up to date. Have downloaded other outings without any problems. Am using Vista.

Regards, Tay

Hello Tay :)

Have you tried to install the outings as admin (log on as admin)? This should works in vista.

If not, try to rightclick the setup.exe and select "install as admin" at the properties.

If nothing helps, change the install-path of the installer to

"c:\myoutings" or so, install it and copy then the outings from there to the RWFF folder.

Vista often makes problems while install something into the program files folder.

I hope this helps. :)

Hi Peter!!

Thanks for your ideas... Have tried them and still no luck... yet. I think the installer path change is a good one. Don't seem to have problems if I cut and paste outings from a download - just problems with installers. After installer all the data is present and looks ok but just doesn't work?? Will try and remove every part of previous installs before cutting and pasting again??...

Its late and I need some fishing so I'm going... to one of the MANY outings that are working. This is a great game!!! If nothing else I'm more than happy with what I have and if the outings don't work after a good effort tomorrow - It's Vista!!! Still any other ideas would be fantastic...

Thanks again for you response  :D

Hi Tay,

Vista is real a pain. I think, it copies the files to "mydatas" or so and link it then to the rwff folder. But I'm not sure. Many developers are confused about it.

Anyway, here are all (my) outings in one zip-file, no installer. I hope I havn't forgot something and it works this time for you: ...

Hi Peter!!!

Your the best!!! Thanks for your time and effort, I really really appreciate it!!!  And the outings were worth the effort!! AWESOME. Hope one day I can repay the help and maybe post some New Zealand outings... If I can convince Dad to take some photos of our local lakes and streams and e-mail them. I'm in Russia at the moment so can't do it myself.

Thanks again :!: :!:
