Demo

Postby Oak » Fri May 01, 2015 6:43 am

Hello, First I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this. I recently stumbled across VR Sportsfishing while surfing YouTube fishing videos and was instantly hooked. I attempted to install the demo version and my Norton prevented me. Norton says it's a high risk threat suspiciouscloud.9. However, I believe it's just a case of mistaken identity on my anti-virus softwares part. I'm not worried about the demo but, I read if I downloaded the demo I wouldn't have to install the game again once purchased, leading me to believe if I buy the game I will get the same error. Is there any way to fix this or am I just plum out of luck here?

Hi Oak:

A warm welcome to our forum. Stanley here. If you had downloaded the VR Sportfishing demo from the Pishtech website I am sure it is safe. I also use Norton and sometime Norton will flag a software as "unsafe" based on the number of users who have used it before. (in VR Sportfishing's case, not too many users) To install the demo, you can tell Norton to ignore it by going into the Norton security settings and tell it to allow the use of the software and then install the demo. I hope you will have success with this.

Regards,

Stanley

I absolutely love VRSportfishing, I finally got the gist of how it works and won my first tournament. That's awesome, When a Developer of this genre stays active with their products you know you got the right fishing game. I will definitely be back on the forums.
