Hi Badger and Everyone:

If you took a 5 second video I would start somewhere in the middle of the video. (at 2 or 3 seconds) The movement of the video tend to be a little smoother there. Where to start? It really depends on the type of water movement. In scenes where there are wave patterns...e.g. ocean waves, I would move the cursor around and start at the beginning, or the end of a wave so you get maximum movement of the wave going up and down. In stream scenes where the water movement is smooth and constant, this is less critical.

You will need to experiment a little with the interval in between the scenes. Personally I space the frames a little closer for smoother water, and wider for ocean waves. A 1/5 of a second in between the frames would be a good place to start. If there is little movement in the 3 frames animation you will need to space out the frames a little wider.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Stanley
