Frequent crashes

Postby peter mcmullan » Mon Jun 05, 2006 2:46 pm

Almost every time I catch a fish the game crashes out with the following message:

Microsoft c++ Debug Library
Debug assertion failed
program g:\realworldflyfishing\rwflyfishing.exe
file: fprintf.c
line 56
expression: str !=NULL

then I get the normal xp crash error box to click on, any ideas whats wrong ?

Just installed the update but now I get 'gr has encountered a problem and needs to close', this is on starting the game.

Peter,

It sounds like your installation was incomplete. Since you've installed from the downloaded version it's possible the files didn't transfer correctly, or that they haven't all been unpacked. Since you're seeing only one fly box it seems liklely that you're missing at least one of the four zip files. When all four are unpacked in the same location, you'll see all the fly boxes. That may solve all the problems you're having. If not please email me at paul@pishtech.com and we'll get to the bottom of it.
