im posting this on the forum for him (long story, dont ask)..

he is having trouble with the demo of vr sportfishing... his screen just goes blank whenever he downloads it and microsoft wont let him reinstall. he just recently bought rwff.

I have just downloaded the demo in 7 minutes and there has no problem on the server.

If Windows is stopping him from reinstalling there are issues with his user profile. It might help to use a different user profile, one authorized to install software (an administrator profile) when installing. The screen just going black could mean either a corrupt installation so installing again should fix it, or a problem with the video card. If that's the case then installing the latest updates for the video card drive ought to solve it.
