That depends on how the outing creator prepared the zip file. The way I set them up you need to unzip into the game's home folder, not the outings folder. The zip file may contain an outings folder, a fish folder and a food folder, so when you unzip in the game folder all the files go to the right place. Of course if an add-on is prepared differently it may need to be installed differently.

Hi Fly caster

Once you download the custom outings, unzip and open folder to make sure there are not folders with sounds , fish plus the outing.
Firstly open your C drive if that is where you have saved your RWFF. Open this up until you see the breakdown of all folders.

If there are sound files they have to go into your sound files. Open folder and copy all files into sound folder. Do the same with fish into fish folder.
Then do the same with outing into outings folder.

Then start the game your download should be there to fish.

If you need any other help, someone will always be around.

Hi Richie,

Where did you download your custom outings?

If you need Fishfiles, foodfiles, soundfiles or flyfiles, you can get those at the Clubhouse, see link at the bottom of this message, go to the library for downloads.

All submitted custom outings are ok, everything has to be put in the right folders.
Note that after unzipping the outingfile, folders will mostly show up nested. Copy the nested folder containing the sitefolders and some other files like fish.def and outing.def etc.
to the outingsfolder in the root of the RWFF folder.

okay. I downloaded SW Gallatin River Montana. In this folder is s01 to s26. b1.bmp, b1ro.bmp, fish.def, hatches.def, outing.def, and top10c.rec. And inside the s01 etc folders is pictures, current, depth, and fish.def. horizon.txt, site.def, and sitemap.dat. do i do anything with the files inside the s01 etc folders? and what do i do with the .def folders that arent in these folders? thanks guys. sorry for the confusing post :P

Copy the folder in which you see the s01.... and so on folders and files into the outingsfolder.
be sure to have update V125 or higher installed.
Be also sure to have all species, sounds and food folders loaded.

if al is ok, the outing should show up in selection section.

you have to copy everything to the appropriate folders and copy all other files to the root of the rwff folder.
Then execute the rwff_update.exe

you should be asked to update to v125, click yes.
