It is getting close so I figured I would give you something to think about trying this winter. Have any of you ever tried jigging a senko it actually does work well if you are in the right spot. The 4 inch version seems to work best. I have caught pretty big fish this way but it doesn't seem to work all the time. Seems as though the fish have to be more aggresive. My biggest bass caught through the ice was with this technique a 22 inch largemouth. I also have caught some pickerel 23-24 inches as well.
Interesting... I know a spot where a lot of decent sized largemouth bass spend the winter. I usually see them on my Aquavu when I'm fishing for bluegills. They're usually extremely lethargic and rarely touch a bait. I've tried a plastic worm for them once, but not a senko. I'll give that a try and see what happens.
