Some flies for larger fish

Postby Yellowstone7 » Thu Feb 19, 2009 8:21 pm

Hi All:

I have uploaded some of my flies for the larger fish. They will work for Tarpon, Tuna, Ray, Carp, etc. I have had good luck with them. Hope you will too! :D :D Enjoy and let us know what you caught. :D

Hi Richard and Geraldo:

Thanks for putting the flies into the Club House Fly Catalog. The streamers (minnows) work really well when matched to the size shown in the food listings. That would be anywhere from a size 2 to size 10, depending on the outing. The extra large crawfish is the biggest one I can make in the flytying program. It matches the super large crawfish pretty well in size. Don't know if this works out in the simulator. In nature bigger size flies catch bigger fish???? :D :D

Geraldo, please try them out and let me know if they work for you. I have caught many nice fish with them, including the record tarpon, and of course, the over 100 inch (illegal) Tuna. :D :D

Regards,

Stanley
