Hi to all

Postby diawlbach » Tue Feb 05, 2008 7:15 pm

My name is Iwan and I have just purchased this great game. Already I have spent many hours on the game and my best fish so far is a Sea Trout of 28 inches. I live in Wales, UK and I live near the river Towy, a great river for catching Salmon and Sea Trout.
The username I have chosen for the forum is "diawlbach" which is a famous Welsh fly and means "little devil", and this fly has served me very well. The best fish I caught on this fly was a 7lbs wild Brown Trout from Lough Corrib in Ireland - by far my best catch.

I look forward to picking up some valuable tips on this forum and to catch even bigger fish.

Tight lines to you all

Iwan :)

I already welcomed you by PM.

Maybe you can try to tie your famous diawlbach fly in the tying section of the program and send your diawlbach folder to me.

I am the holder of the RWFF Flycatalogue and am eager to add your creations.

You can send them by email, it's in my profile.

Regards Richard

Hi Richard,

I've had a go at tying my own flies in the section but they weren't very good! I shall practise a bit more and then I will pass it on to you. First of all how do I email you the fly from the program. This is one part of the game I'm not to sure of - i.e - downloading add ons etc.

Kind regards

to send your flies by Email, go to the flies-folder in the PishTech\Real World Fly Fishing folder.

find the folder c0000_(your fly-name), pack the folder and attach the file to your Email message.

To download add-ons just click the links.

unpack the files and then put everything in the right folders within the PishTech\Real World Fly Fishing folder.

If you got trouble doing it, just let me know.

Regards Richard

Hello Iwan!
Welcome from Needles, California--in the middle of the Mohave Desert where we fly fish mostly in our dreams! :D
