SW's new Dunajei Gorge Poland Outing..truly wondrous!

Postby Yellowstone7 » Thu Jul 31, 2014 6:06 pm

Hi Everyone:

Tonight I downloaded one of Martin's three new Poland outings..the Dunajei Gorge and River in Poland and found it to be a truly wondrous fishing experience. I think Martin has chosen the right word when he called his new outing "Wonderous Dnajei Gorge and River".

When I first bought RWFF and joined the Forum about six years ago, I had tried the various fishing games and simulators on the internet space and decided to go for Real World Fly Fishing as it had the most realistic fishing physics and and it was very akin to a real flyfishing experience. Beside, I knew, and have fished, most of the streams in the original official RWFF version and I thought, "cool, I will get to fish the Yellowstone Park and some of my favorite Northwest streams again. Little did I realized that I was taking a giant step into a fishing adventure which will soon become very addictive, as well as additive as a hobby.

RWFF turned out to be not one of those PC games that you buy, play and then put away or delete from your computer. It is so ridden with interesting and great features, and encourage so much of your own imagination and creativity that one can truly chose his own level of participation. You can relax in your arm chair and do some fishing over a cool drink, or you can stay up all night, trying to create a custom outing, or a fish to share with everyone on the Forum. All the members on the Forum are great people, living in all different parts of the world but they all share the passion of fishing and friendship on our little Forum. No virtual PC game can beat that.

From day one on the Forum I never thought one day I would be fishing a river, or talking to real fisherman, from Poland...but here we are! This is a real "Wonderous" experience for anyone in love with real or virtual fishing, no matter who you are, or where you live.

Martin, as usual, did a great job with the Dunajei Gorge outing. If it had not been for these scenes I would have never realized that such beautiful fishing places existed in Poland. If I were only 20 years younger I would want to pack my fishing gear and head for Poland and meet great people like Jyndrek, Wojtek and Savi, and maybe do a bit of serious fishing for the famous Huncho there! A bit too late now.

Martin's outings are always known for a huge variety of fish and orchestrating animal and bird sounds and this one is no exception. I had my sound turned up on my computer and it was a great fishing journey through the Dunajei Gorge from within my 27 inch Dell HD screen. Thanks Martin for bring us this outing and also I want to thank our Polish members for inspiring Martin to do these outings. Without you guys I would have never experienced flyfishing in Poland!

Here are some pictures of the Dunajei Gorge outing.

Oh, it was also a lot of fun to see my "Jumping fish" dancing on the water surface in a Polish stream as well!

Stanley
