A Pretty Alpine Bullhead For Our Friends in Poland!

Postby Yellowstone7 » Wed Jun 11, 2014 11:03 pm

Hi Jyndrek, Savi, Wojtek and Everyone:

First off, my sincere apologies to Uncle Barnsie for creating yet another fish for him to update. Especially after he just updated all the fish files on our Forum. Soreeee!

I got an email from Jyndrek this evening and he mentioned that he would like to have the Alpine Bullhead for the Polish river outings. I searched the internet for a good profile picture and I found one within a couple of minutes. This is a protected fish in Polish rivers and is quite rare. This pretty little fish grows to a mere 7-8 inches but she is very pretty. It must be release immediately if accidentally caught by a fisherman. I had lots of fun working on this fish as it has beautiful coloration and a very interesting shape.

Some pictures of the new Alpine Bullhead (Glowacz):

Don't forget to gently take the hook out and put the fish back into the water when you catch one in one of the new Polish outings!
