New California Kelp Beds...Something to Wet Your Appetite

Postby Yellowstone7 » Fri Jul 19, 2013 2:07 pm

Hi Everyone:

I have been working on an outing based on the California Kelp Beds. I thought I would put up some pictures to wet your appetite. It is almost finished and I will probably post this outing in the next few days so please keep your eyes on the Development Forum for it. Here you will catch some beautiful Kelp Bass and other great fish who lives and feed in the kelp forest off the coast of California in the USA.

Hi Stanley,
Looks like that is going to be a good one. I take it the Jumping Kelp Bass is a new fish. Can't wait to try this one. Roger

Hi Roger and Everyone:

Yes, the Jumping Kelp Bass is indeed a new fish. I just made another one to add to the Kelp Forrest in California... the Leopard Shark. This shark can grow up to 60 inches so it will be a real battle for you if you hooked it. Here are some pictures of the Leopard Shark:

Hope you will enjoy catching this one!

Hi Stanley,
That's an excellent looking shark there. Both your fish will be another welcomed sight. Can't wait to hook into them.

Hi Roger and Everyone:

Here are some hot off the press caught pictures of the Leopard Shark for you. You'll need heavy tackle to get those babies!

Those fish looked and fought great in the water too! Should be fun to catch them.

Whoa, really, REALLY nice bud! Will be looking forward to this one after everything on my end is said and done. And a little funny statement for you. Can you believe that the next fish I was going to add to the New Species Ideas thread was going to be the Leopard Shark?!?!? Guess that one is taken care of!!

Hi Everyone:

I was not satisfied with the tail on the original Leopard Shark and I decided to build a new one. It was a bit of a struggle but I did it. Here you are looking at the Leopard Shark2. Better looking fish, I thought. The fins were also modified a little to get that shark cruising look. :P
