Great fish ideas! That should keep everybody busy, especially Uncle Barnsie!

Look what I found in my fish pond....The Warm Mouth and Yellow Bass. Gee... who know what else I have in stock! LOL

Stanley, your pond never ceases to amaze me! But I have to laugh, bud. WARM Mouth?? LOL WAR mouth, bud! They're called warmouths! Hahahaha....like the Pantera song "Mouth for War" (like you guys have any idea who tha is right? LMFAO!!) But they both look good! Man..with all these fish poppin up here seemingly from the beyond, when are they gonna be ready and useable in the outings? I have quite a few thoughts of where the Pumpkinseed can go, being a common fish here in WNY! Also, the speckled peacock mixed in with the jumping Butterfly Peacock would make any Florida or South American outing really feel like you are there!!!

So, all these great new species poppin up as already created...so..when do we find them ready for DL? I gots lots of ideas for the pumpkinseed and speckled peacock!!

Hi Chuck,
Sometime after the tournament, Stanley will be on 10 day New Years celebration, and we have to get busy and try to beat Barns on this tournament. He's got some decent scores chalked up. It ends on Feb. 15 midnight. Then I can continue on my outing of Rare Trout Species of the West. Roger

Niugini Bass or Papuan Black Bass
These big guys are found in Papua, New Guinea. They are built and are as tough as giant smallmouth bass, with monsters exceeding 80lbs. Known as one of the toughest fish in the world. I don't know about any of you, but I've fought 4lb smallmouth before and they can fight. Imagine what an 80lb smallmouth could do!! I think this one would be a great addition, especially for heavier tackle!!

Redband Trout
Looks kinda similar (in my opinion) to the Yamame Trout, but is related to the Rainbow Trout. Prized gamefish in California, Nevada, Montana, Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. Two subspecies exist--the Colombia River Redband trout and the Great Basin Redband trout.






Aurora Trout
Related to the brook trout, it has no spotting. It is native to Ontario, Canada.

Stanley: While working on the project I noticed a fish found in the eastern states
that we don't have : Here it goes by the name Horn Pout or Horned Pout.

I don't have time to put pictures up but here is one link to the fish pictures. Another name
of this fish is Brown Bullhead. It is a member of the cat family.

Just a thought, around here kids grow up catching this fish which leads them to love fishing.

Ahh, the Brown Bullhead! You know I didn't even realize that we didn't have them in the game! We call them just "bullheads" here in NY because they are abundant. but Brown Bullhead is the actual name. Never heard of them being also called Horned Pouts! I guess its a regional thing, learn something new everyday!

I was also thinknig about another in the catfish family:

White Catfish
Not a real big catfish, goes about 24" max, but a hard fighter and prized food fish!

Hi Chuck, I can imagine this bass will be fun. Also my next outing is the Kern river so I am also making a type of redband trout called the Kern river trout.

Guadalupe Bass
Native to Texas, also found throughout Mexico. Not a very large bass (the record is currently 3lbs 11oz), but a sought-after fish species by fly anglers. It is also the state fish of Texas.
