Once you get the hang of playing the steelhead on the Polis, you should try it for real on the Chagrin or the Conneaut, or the Rocky, or the Vermillion or the Ashtabula or the Grand.
I got hooked on steelhead fishing 2-3 years ago and probably get out every other weekend from late-September to late-April, with the early part mostly in Pa. It's a hoot, although it can be crowded.
Get yourself a 7 wt, 9 1/2 to 10 ft rod and give it a try. Then, your wife will really hate you!.
