What a pleasant surprise....

Postby Cutch » Wed Aug 15, 2018 4:46 pm

I thought I had to have Windows 10 to play the new outings, I was wrong.
I downloaded all the new sound and species files and some of Martin's outings
that I did not have.
Much to my surprise, and delight, I was able to play every outing but one,
Martin's SW Massachusetts outing. I'll figure out what's missing there
and fix it.
I'm a happy camper, I can play these outing with Windows 7 Pro. I realize
some features may be missing because I don't have Windows 10, (Yet), but
I can play them.
Later, I have some catching up to do.

Hi Cutch,
Windows7 should work on everything for RWFF even for making outings. I usually fished an outing until all species were caught. With so many outings out there, I now catch 2 or 3 fish per site and fish all sites and then post what I caught. This way I know the outing is working properly in each site and then I'll move to the next outing I have listed. Fish a lot more areas throughout the world and post more often. I've had no problems with RWFF on Windows 7. So you will be able to enjoy this great simulator as before. Roger (rwwalleye)
